The Youth Wellness Centre is committed to empowering the youth at CEC to promote, maintain or improve their own health and wellness through healthy lifestyle choices while providing a safe, inclusive and confidential space for youth.
Some of the services provided include:
- individual or group health (emotional, sexual, social) education and counselling
- mental heath and addiction support
- advocacy/social justice
- health promotion and prevention activities
- emotional regulation support
- free pregnancy tests
- referrals to outside services
Please Note: The Centre does not treat physical illness or dispense any medication. If you are in need of these services please see your family doctor or visit a Walk-in Clinic or Emergency Room.
