Haunted Hallway

Basketball

Basketball try-outs continue Monday night from 6:00-7:30 for all girls followed by the first boys try-out from 7:30-9:30. Please be changed into gym clothes with indoor sneakers and be on time.

Boys Volleyball

Congratulations to the boys volleyball team for winning the 35th annual Westisle Wolverine Classic. The Cougars went undefeated in the tournament winning the final over Three Oaks of Summerside 25-21, 22-25, and 16-14. Austin Atkinson was the Tournament All-Star and Thomas Vickers was the MVP.

CEC Football

The CEC football team won on Sunday, beating Lockview High 16-11 The Cougars last game of the regular season is on Sunday at CEC at 1:00pm.

UNB Future Student Event

The University of New Brunswick will be hosting a 'Future Student Event' on Tuesday, October 30th, at 7:00pm at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre in Truro. Junior Achievement

Looking for a fun activity where you can make friends, learn skills, and maybe make some money? If so think about Junior Achievement's Company Program. JA Nova Scotia offers students a fun way to learn about how businesses operate while running their own company. The program is offered at the NSCC Campus in Truro on Tuesday evenings beginning next week on October 23rd. See Sarah in the front foyer at lunch on Tuesday, October 23rd to find out more and find out how to get involved, earn credits, and qualify for scholarships!

Students who are planning to get a flu vaccination at CEC on October 29th or 30th are reminded to return their consent form to the office before October 24th. Copies of the form are available in the office and on the school website.
